Dr. Raza Mahmood
Dr. Mahmood is the primary practitioner at Mountainside Pediatrics. He is highly qualified with vast experience as a pediatrician. He has been on staff as Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Augusta Medical School and Mercer School of Medicine since 2000.
He specializes in the management of Allergy and Asthma, Adolescent Medicine and Cardiac diseases.
He believes good communication between Parents and Pediatrician is vital for the optimum care of the child. He always welcomes and encourages questions from parents and believe it is his job to answer all questions concerning their child.
Dr. Mahmood believes that children are not simply small adults and must be approached with an appreciation for their stage of physical and mental development. He has been on the faculty of Mercer University School of Medicine and Medical College of Georgia as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.
