Dr. Mahmood is the primary practitioner at Mountainside Pediatrics.  He is highly qualified with vast experience as a pediatrician. He has been on the faculty of Mercer University, School of Medicine and Medical College of  Georgia as Clinical Assistant Professor for the last twelve years . 

He specializes in the management of Allergy and Asthma, Adolescent Medicine and Cardiac diseases.
He believes good communication between Parents and Pediatrician is vital for the optimum care of the child. He always welcomes and encourages questions from parents and believe it is his job to answer all questions concerning their child.

Dr. Mahmood believes that children are not simply small adults and must be approached with an appreciation for their stage of physical and mental development.

Dr. Mahmood has moved from New York with his wife and three children. His hobbies are photography, playing cricket with his children, and traveling to mountains.
